Carotees wants to maintain an excellent relation with its customers. We appreciate your trust and take your rights seriously. It is important that you are correctly informed of what you can expect from us and otherwise. The Terms and Conditions below will allow you to know exactly your legal situation each time you visit us and place an order with us. When going through our site www.Carotees.be, you accept to be legally bound by it, and to respect the Terms and Conditions below.

Carotees reserves the right to change or modify its general conditions without notifying the client individually, and without the option for the latter to claim any compensation. It is up to you as a client to verify periodically if any changes have been made.

Articles available on the Carotees site

All articles available on the Carotees site are described in good faith and as precisely as possible. The prices are valid on the day of the online reference. All prices are mentioned in EURO and inclusive of VAT (21%). 

Contract with Carotees

A valid contract is closed between yourself and Carotees when Carotees receives the confirmation of your order on the Carotees website. You will also receive an e-mail as soon as your order has been sent.

Carotees may however decide to subordinate the validity of the contract to other conditions such as, for example, orders placed by minors, incomplete or incorrect orders or the non-payment of previous orders.

According to the Belgian law related to commercial practices, the seller supports the risks of damage or loss of the products during shipment. It is necessary that you inform Carotees of non-delivery of the goods within an acceptable delay (3 weeks) after having received the confirmation of shipment by mail. Carotees may decide to refuse your demand if it has not been sent within this delay. You can send your mail to the following address: info@carotees.be.

Your right to return the ordered product within 7 days after delivery

The Belgian law related to commercial practices dated July 14, 1991, authorizes the consumer to notify the seller that (s)he renounces from his/her purchase within 7 calender days after delivery. The goods, new and wrapped in their original packaging, have to be returned within an acceptable period after receipt of this notification (e.g. 3 working days) to the following address:  Dudzeelse Steenweg 42,  B-8000 Brugge. Following documents have to be included: a copy of the invoice and a letter mentioning the order number, the names of the cancelled article(s), the number of cancelled articles and the account number to reimburse the amount of the cancelled order.

Packages that do not have (sufficient) postage will be refused and returned to the person who has sent them. This will often occur with an additional tax. Thank you for respecting our procedure and thus return the undesired item with the necessary postage.

If you have changed your mind and no longer wish to buy the product, you can always return the ordered article within 7 days following delivery. We will reimburse you as soon as we receive the article back. You will support the shipping costs incurred to send the product back to us.

If the article you have received does not correspond to the article that you have ordered or if you received a damaged product, please return it using standard mail. We will reimburse your order and your shipping costs as soon as we received the product back.

The repayment is due within a maximum term of 15 days.

Carotees has the right to refuse or the right not to reimburse returned articles when the products have been damaged by the client.

Delivery of the article

The article will be delivered to the address that you have mentioned in your order.

Carotees tries to keep all articles in stock. However, it can always happen that a certain article is temporary out of stock. In that case, we will send you a message with the expected delivery time for that article, so that you can decide whether to cancel your order or proceed with it.

In accordance with our Terms and Conditions, Carotees cannot be held liable for a possible delivery delay and this can not result into a damage claim or compensation. 

Payment 

The prices displayed by Carotees are mentioned in EURO and are VAT inclusive. Belgian legislation is applicable, and the articles offered on the website are delivered from Belgium. The invoice is made up in EURO, subject to Belgian Value Added Tax (VAT), which is 21%. We accept a prepaid money transfer (national or international). In the confirmation of the order, the total amount is the final price, all taxes are mentioned and costs included. The products are delivered at the price that is applicable at the moment of the order.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

Complaints and disputes will always be read with attentive willingness, presuming good faith of the person making the effort explaining his situation. In case of dispute, the client will give priority to addressing Carotees, aiming to settle amicably. In case of default, only Belgian court (district of Bruges) will be authorized.
